        Ms. Morris is an accomplished attorney with proven expertise and knowledge in criminal law, civil litigation, family law, DUI's, DWI's contract disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, and criminal appeals.  She has successfully litigated complex employment and personal injury cases against several large corporations and a national law firm. She was appointed to the D.C. Court of Appeals panel under the Criminal Justice Act and has filed several criminal appellate briefs.  Ms. Morris is a former prosecutor with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office in West Chester.  As a prosecutor, Ms. Morris acquired advanced courtroom experience while prosecuting DUI's, assault and drug cases. 

        Ms. Morris obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities from Rosemont College in 1996.  In 2000 she graduated from Pennsylvania State University , Dickinson School of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree.  During law school, Ms. Morris interned for the United States Attorney’s Office in Camden, New Jersey, the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office in Media, Pa. and for the Civil Rights Section of the Pa. Attorney General’s Office located in Harrisburg, Pa.
    
        Upon graduation, she moved to D.C. and worked for three years in the Environmental Crimes Section of the Department of Justice.  In 2004, Ms. Morris accepted a position as an assistant district attorney in the Chester County District Attorney’s office, West Chester, Pa.  As a prosecutor, Ms. Morris handled summary, misdemeanor and felony cases.  She had an 100% success rate in prosecuting DUI cases in front of juries.  Ms. Morris returned to D.C. to start her law practice in 2006 and has since opened an office in Anne Arundel County, Md.
